In dollar terms this is a relatively stable and low volatility fund with a low weighting to equity. South African investors will be exposed to additional currency risk.

Investment Team

STANLIB Systematic Solutions, one of STANLIB’s specialist investment teams, manages systematic beta and alpha strategies, with sizable assets under management. The team comprises of nine highly qualified investment professionals, with over 110 years of combined experience. The team boasts a strong reputation, is optimally sized, and has depth and breadth of experience.

Rademeyer Vermaak

Rademeyer joined the Systematic Solutions team in December 2019. He started his career as an electronic engineer before moving to the financial services sector. Immediately prior to STANLIB, he worked for Fairtree Asset Management as the head of quantitative research and as a portfolio manager.
