STANLIB Systematic Solution’s overarching investment philosophy is that our unemotional investment approach seeks to create portfolios that will achieve our clients’ desired outcomes in a transparent, cost-effective and intuitive manner. Our investment approach is active, fundamental investing achieved in a disciplined, consistent, and systematic way, which eliminates behavioural bias. We believe that identifiable, persistent and systematic drivers of returns (i.e. investment styles) exist in the global equity markets, as well as the South African equity market. We see this rational and pioneering approach as the natural evolution of equity investing.
